Used to compose the Ti(O-i-Pr)4 (titanium isopropoxide)-diethanolamine-i-propanol system, required for the preparation of transparent TiO2 films by dip-coating method. It may be used for the coating of ZnO nanoparticles. Used in the preparation of morpholine and diethanolamides, which is an active ingredient in cosmetics and shampoos. It acts as a surfactant and a corrosion inhibitor. It is utilized to remove hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from natural gas.
