a catalyst used for hydrgenation of alkenes, alkynes,
nitro groups; also used for hydrogenolysis of cyclopropanes, catalyzes
oxidation of alcohols, used as a catalyst for a variety of applications, such
as: hydrosilylation reaction for the production of
molecules with silicon-carbon bonds, direct alcohol fuel cells (DAFCs), an
electrocatalyst in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), formation of
nanocatalyst for polymer electrolyte fuel cells, hydrogenation of alkenes,
alkynes, nitro groups, ketones, and aromatics, hydrogenolysis of
cyclopropanes, oxidation of alcohols, also be used as an hydrosilylation
catalyst, it can convert alkenes and alkynes to chlorosilanes, alkylsilanes,
and alkoxysilanes at the temperature and pressure conditions of 100-300°C and
30-1000 psi, respectively, also used as a catalyst in methanol fuel cells.
